When Brianna and I had first talked on the phone, I remember us talking about their relationship and what her and Jon liked to do for fun. Getting to know couples is so important to us. The better we know you guys, the better work we do. So, as Brianna and I were getting to know each other, she shared with me how much they love to hike together. It is one of their absolute favorite things to do as a couple. An adventure engagement session is a unique way to showcase your love story and we are always up for an adventure!

When she asked me about their engagement session she said, “Would you go on a hike with us?” Of course I said yes. It’s really special to be able to capture something that truly represents a couple and their personality. These two were so laid back and carefree, and we hadn’t yet been asked to do a hiking session. So I couldn’t say no to this.

We set the date, and we hiked up to Ricketts Glen. Christian came along with me and we even brought our dog Leia. It truly was a fun time. Getting to know them while enjoying nature and photographing the day was so freakin’ cool. Here are some of our favorite moments from the hike.

When we got to the waterfall, they even changed into these super moody outfits. You know that’s my vibe. It was awesome! If an adventure engagement session is something that you can see yourself doing, you know who to reach out to.
