Now let's celebrate that commitment (and the bling bling) by capturing the beginning of this next chapter in your lives together. When you hire Dearly Beloved for your wedding day, you receive a complimentary engagement photo session so you can get to know your photographer. We love to do an engagement session with our clients because it gives us a chance to meet each other and get you comfortable behind the camera before your big day. We love to build a relationship with our couples, so that way when your wedding day shows up, you know and (hopefully) love us! They're also really fun! We promise you won't say you hate taking photos afterwards.
Talk about a complete vibe. These two knew what they wanted and went for it. Their venue was a small restraunt in Philly with beautiful greenery and top of the line meals. Victoria and Ryan fully indulged on the day of their wedding.
A micro-wedding has the unique ability to make everyone feel like family, even if you’re not. It’s such an intimate and emotional experience that you naturally create connections with all of the guests there.
We were blessed to get to know Victoria and Ryan and some of their closest family and friends. During couples photos they escaped to the bar and had a sweet moment just for the two of them. Such a perfect way to end a perfect day.
If a big wedding isn’t what you imagine, something small can be just as beautiful. Celebrate your day exactly how you imagine.
Golden hour engagement shoots are honestly a dream. It’s one of our favorite times of day to capture our couples The way the sun surrounds you and creates that beautiful glow is the perfect recipe for killer shots.
Mackenzie and Ed spent the evening walking and exploring the Trexler Nature Preserve with Rachel. There were quiet intimate moments and lots of laughter too. The direct sun created some stunning opportunities and they fully took advantage of it.
Ultimately, this session should be a natural reflection of who you are as a couple. Natural and comfortable with real emotion.
Raw, real and authentic is our goal. Perfection in our relationships, marriage and work life is not realistic. Imperfection is beautiful.
Your engagement session is supposed to be an immersive experience, not just a typical photo shoot. We take this time to get to know you both on a deeper level so that there’s already that camaraderie there before the wedding day.
Kim and Drew were so comfortable and super fun to photograph. Kristine loved their natural chemistry, even in front of the camera. Just be yourself and let go of the insecurities. Because chances are, those are the things that your partner loves most about you.
These two have been through thick and thin, yet love prevailed. We’re so grateful to work with such authentic and genuine couples.
We truly have the best job.
