The way Nick and Malena welcomed us as if we were their own family on the day of their wedding tells you the kind of people that they are. We knew from day one that their day was going to be incredible and raw. And it was.
As we waited for the first look on the docks, Nick reminisced with memories they had together and started crying before even seeing his beautiful bride. They chose their first look based on where they had family vacation for more than a decade. A first look can be so romantic and pure. It almost felt like time stood still when she tapped on his shoulder and it was just the two of them in that moment.
As in tune as they were with each other, it was also clear to see the love they had for their friends and family. After their gorgeous ceremony on the outer deck, they had everyone meet on the stairs for a giant group photo. Nick and Malena wanted to remember all the faces that were there to celebrate them and their love.
Before the evening was over they snuck out during golden hour for an intimate moment on the docks together … slow dancing the night away.

These two were killing the game. Keith looked super dapper in his suit and orange tie (perfect way to incorporate the fall season) and Casey looked like a goddess. Point blank. Her high neck cape and flowy intricate dress looked incredible during golden hour with the warm light seeping through. We love seeing our couples style and all the small details of the day. When couples have nods to their hometown and/or their story, it makes us feel like we have known them forever.
In more ways than one, marriage creates a lifelong bond. You instantly gain twice the amount of family which equals twice the amount of love. Casey and Keith are blessed with three beautiful daughters. It was so sweet to see their connection and reaction during the ceremony. Blended families are super special. It’s obvious that they don’t take this for granted.
It was a gorgeous fall day. Lots of bold and bright foliage creates an amazing back drop. Each season has its own pros but the fall season has something extra special. Just like Casey and Keith.
