A Cinematic City Session in Philadelphia

Andrea and Tyler’s cinematic city session captures their free-spirited elegance and feels right at home in the city. This session was the perfect excuse to wander through Philly together and simply see where the day took us.

Engagement sessions, especially a city engagement session, are some of our favorite days with our couples. We like to think of them as a laid-back day out together. No pressure. Just time to explore, laugh, and get comfortable in front of the camera. Along the way, we learn what prompts feel natural to you and what moments best reflect your relationship.

This cinematic city session is one we’ll be thinking about for a long time—probably all the way until their wedding day in January 2027. Tyler and Andrea arrived with ideas but let go of expectations. That freedom always creates the best moments. It allows us to focus less on the “perfect new profile photo” and more on telling a story that feels real.

They spent the afternoon strolling through the streets of Philly, pausing here and there to talk, laugh, and soak it all in. Some of our favorite images happen in those in-between moments. The ones that feel natural, a little imperfect, and completely honest.

Sessions like this remind us why we love what we do. In a cinematic city session like this one, the best moments happen when it simply feels like hanging out with old friends.
