Kim and Drew’s wedding at the Inn at Leola Village in Lancaster, PA wasn’t just a ceremony; it was a celebration of love and triumph over life’s challenges. It was an incredibly heartfelt moment when Kim’s son walked down the aisle to Drew. And we will not forget how they played rock-paper-scissors to decide who’d say their vows first. Every moment was filled with authenticity and emotion.
Kim’s triple-header first look, starting with Drew, then her dad, and finally her son, was a testament to the bonds they share. When her son turned around, his words, “You look beautiful!” melted hearts, capturing the inexplicable bond and love between a mother and her son. From the moment Kim’s son entered their lives, Drew embraced his role with unwavering devotion and love. Their connection was palpable, evident in every way.
The exchange of private vows during their first look showcased their playful spirit. Unable to decide who’d go first, they let a game of rock-paper-scissors settle it. But shortly after they were both in tears as they poured out their hearts in their personal vows to one another. We love when couples write vows that are truly unique to their story and their roots. Reading these in private truly adds an extra element of intimacy to the wedding day.
Later on in the evening as the party began, surprises like the Philadelphia Mummers’ appearance brought extra joy to the celebration. Amidst colorful umbrellas and the lively mariachi band, Kim and Drew danced surrounded by love and laughter. You could hear everyone in the room sing in unison “Fly Eagles Fly!” Philly fans at heart, this was just one way they showcased their unique interests and love for their hometown. And what’s not to love about that?
As they embark on this new chapter, may their love continue to shine brightly, inspiring others along the way. Only the best wishes to this beautiful couple.
