Nicole and Dillon’s wedding day was truly the sweetest. Our bride looked absolutely beautiful, but the best thing she wore that day was her smile. Their celebration was smaller, but packed with heart, emotion, and color. It was one of those days where we had the timeline as a starting point, but mostly just let things unfold naturally. These kinds of weddings are exactly what we love capturing; intimate wedding photography that tells the story of real moments, real emotions, and real people.
Thank you, Nicole and Dillon, for inviting us into your family circle. We love getting a glimpse into the vulnerability of our couples and their family; their stories, and their connections.
The setting for this beautiful day was Lake Wallenpaupack at Silver Birches. It felt like a little off-the-grid escape, a hidden gem that could easily be overlooked, but it created such a cinematic backdrop. We loved capturing the moments on the dock by the water’s edge. Nicole and Dillon were just taking it all in, fully present in their day, and we quietly took a backseat, letting the day unfold exactly as it wanted to. These are the kinds of moments that make intimate wedding photography so special.
This wedding reminded us why we love intimate celebrations. By letting couples lead and letting the day unfold naturally, we get to capture their hearts, their commitment, and the moments that really matter. Every couple becomes family from the moment we book with them, and we feel so lucky to preserve these memories for years to come. From the DBW family to yours, we would love to capture your story exactly as it is.
