The chemistry between them was so tangible on their wedding day. While they could have been upset about the rainy weather, they embraced it and chose to focus on each other instead. The rain added such a moody element to their wedding at Holly Hedge Estate. The day was so dreamy and Shannon truly looked like a princess straight out of a fairytale. Her gown and the long flowing veil were a sight to see. It was truly breathtaking to watch Shannon walk down the aisle to her forever. Shannon and CJ were just a natural fit. Then came the personal vows. The day just continually got better and better.

“I don’t believe in love at first sight. Love is something that must be maintained and grown. However, from the moment I met you, I felt this strange calmness that never went away. It truly just felt right. Right from the start.” – CJ 

A Dreamy Fairytale

For some people, falling in love is a process that lasts a lifetime. Shannon and CJ have an old soul kind of love. It isn’t rushed, it’s simple, and understanding. Some of their favorite moments together are the times they get to throw on their favorite Bon Iver record and just sit within the music together. Music is one of those things that can really bring people together. And it certainly did on their dance floor! We were blown away by the elegance of the day and the electric energy of the party to follow.

Sometimes things happen in life that are out of our control, but in the wise words of Shannon and CJ’s officiant, “Stay close to God during this journey. When the storms come, rely on Him to stay afloat but also love each other through every trial that comes.”
