Where to start with this couple and their journey… I’m sure you all can imagine that 2020 has been a hectic year for all the couples planning a wedding. Well, Lauren and Khalil were no exception. They had planned on having a large scale wedding in Philadelphia, where they both met and fell in love. They hadn’t even known that Promise Ridge existed yet.
Covid 19 had other plans… They knew that postponing wasn’t going to be the right choice for them. And besides, nothing was going to stop Lauren and Khalil from becoming husband and wife on the date they originally planned. It was time for a new plan. They decided they would celebrate with their loved ones and have a micro-wedding at Promise Ridge instead.
In the age of grandiose weddings with hundreds of guests and extravagant decor, there’s a quiet revolution taking place. Couples are opting for a more intimate affair, focusing on what truly matters: love, connection, and the promise of a lifetime together. This shift has given rise to the micro-wedding trend, and our experience at Promise Ridge epitomizes the beauty of this intimate celebration.
Promise Ridge was like something out of a fairytale. They exchanged their vows with the mountains in the distance, and lush greenery surrounding them. They both looked stunning, the weather was perfect, and there wasn’t a dry eye during the ceremony. Love was so apparent in every aspect of the day… especially their vows. By the end of the night, Lauren and Khalil felt like everything happened exactly as it should have. They couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day with those who were nearest and dearest to them.
