Rachel and Chase reached out to us in the midst of the pandemic, with less than 6 months before their wedding. This is becoming a common thing since so many couples have needed to change their wedding plans so many times. But ya know what… we don’t mind! Rachel and I spoke on the phone and she shared with me her wedding day plans and the vision they had. Less than 20 people were going to be attending the wedding. This allowed the event to be so much more meaningful and intimate.
Rachel and Chase looked incredible, like extra amazing. I’d like to think that their extra ‘glow’ came from the lack of stress and the pure joy they had that day. They finally become husband and wife, the day was all about them and only the people that mattered the most were a part of it.
Terrain at Styers in Glen Mills was the perfect setting for their candlelight dinner to celebrate their love. The overall aesthetic was a dream! From the details, to the boho floral, and the simplicity of her dress… it was perfect.
All of these smaller weddings have really helped us, and a lot of couples too, to truly focus on the purpose and the meaning of a wedding day. Less is more sometimes. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m really grateful to be a wedding photographer in a time like this. We’ve captured the most meaningful and intentional weddings in our entire career in 2020. So excited to see how the wedding world is shifting and we’re ready to make these memories even more special for so many amazing couples.
